Just posting to see if anyone was looking for any help on the evenings or weekends in Boston or surrounding areas(willing to go as far as 30-40 miles outside the city as well). I’ve done a lot of different things from commercial to residential finish work(doors, trim, sheetrock, steel framing, some wood framing, headers, etc..) as well as some electrical work, a touch of brick masonry, some cabinet work, flooring work and a plethora of other things. I’m willing to do anything from install some doors and casing to digging holes or carrying lumber in and out all day…reecently divorced and just trying to get by.
Here are the last three things I took on as an example of sorts of what I can do:
1. Installed 500 sq. feet of T/G maple flooring along with a ash border, made chamfered/rabbited threshholds from ash to accompany flooring.
2. Removed 4 2’x4′ damaged sections of ceramic flooring in a commercial setting(a platform floor setup over concrete) and installed new plywood, wonderboard, tiles, grout, and ceramic base
3. Repaired broken cabinet door, mortised in new hinges by hand, installed new hardware
