I am remodeling an old house and several of my glass door knobs are loose. Any suggestions on how I can tighten the brass surrounding the glass?

Since there is little to go on.. Try injected expoxy.
Who ever invented work didn't know how to fish....
Take the knobs off and put on brass washers till they are tight agian.

If the glass is loose to the brass, then IMERC is right. Your only hope is expoxy but you can buy new ones.
Otherwise, on some of these old systems, the knob is screwed onto a 1/4" square shart which is threaded. Then it is held in place with a setscrew, ulually slotted. Just loosen the setscrew and rotate the knob until it is tight, back off a bit to the first available flat and tighten. The threads may be worn so you may have to go to a locksmith's shop and buy a new shaft and/or knob.

Imerc is right. These were probably seated with a press clamp and the metal has fatiqued around the base of the crystal. Trying to force it tight again is likely to chip the glass and will only be temporary. using a small hypodermic needle to inject a few drops of epoxy should do the job.
The comment about washers would apply for the space between the shaft and the lockset where wavy washers help keep it from rattling around
