Hey guys,
A while back I posted about a hypoid Makita I just bought. Well, as an update I am loving it!
It took a bit of a while to get used to the weight and the slight torque to the right when you pull the trigger but the rest of it rules! I love seeing the blade when it cuts and the weight in the back makes it really easy to control. Also, the Makita is incredibly quiet so thats a plus especially on some of our jobs that are “occupied” and it keeps the noise down for the homeowners, office staff, etc.
All in all very happy I bought it and may never go back to a standard style again.

I just picked one up a couple months or so ago, recon. from Tooladay for $90.
Now I have three saws- the new Makita hypoid, the old original arm-twister Makita hypoid, and the Bosch worm. All are fine saws in my book.
OP: what were you using previously?
