Hey all!
I be a newbie to the forum but a “seasoned” remodel guy. I was wondering if anyone has come across this dilemma. I’ve got a living room striped of plaster with lathe still remaining. The client wants to install low voltage lights(obviously with transformer) that wrap the room at the height of a later installed picture rail. Instead of installing the wiring behind the sheetrock, I was thinking of routing out the picture rail and running the wiring behind that. Stubbing when needed for each light. Transformer will be installed with access hatch. Am I crazy?
