Cambia, ash or poplar. I've also used quarter sawn poplar bathed in BLO.
Of course if you can find some old pine reclaimed that would be pretty good too.
Is this for an interior or exterior window sill? If interior, 2sheps comment is good advice. I will often try to use the same wood as was originally used
White oak or heart pine on either side or popular inside.
Exterior = cypress.
white oak , sapele,
Western red cedar, mahogany, PVC.
What is the existing window made out of? If you are just rebuilding one or two windows it's not that hard to source old growth or reclaimed wood to match.
