Is anyone else upset that FHB now has no protective mailing cover?

Simple air-sealing measures and spray-applied sealant lower energy bills and increase comfort without the need to tear the house apart.
"I have learned so much thanks to the searchable articles on the FHB website. I can confidently say that I expect to be a life-long subscriber." - M.K.

Look, just send me to my drawer. This whole talking-to-you thing is like double punishment.
tore the protective mailing cover off mine earlier today.
now it doesn't have one ... but doesn't upset me ...
as I'm the one who tore it off.

They told me it was only for the prevention of disease.
And it did look very SAFE to me -- kinda like those plastic wrappers for $10 rolls of quarters.
But I find risky behavior very exciting!

I think the purpose of the sleeve is that they write your subscription expiration date on it knowing that you'll throw it away. Then, when the letter to renew your subscription comes, you go, "Darn, when does mine expire?", forgetting that it's good for another ten months. Of course, if it were Golf Digest, you can renew at the normal rate, but if you were a new subscriber you could do it at half that plus a golf tips video. Faithful subscribers always get screwed.
