Hey guys, can anyone tell me where I can find a magnet thats on wheels, is about 36″ long, and has a handel. I saw a guy use it to pick up nails after a big shingle job, and can’t remember where he got it. Thanks!!

TCON (Amazon.com) has them. $139.99 for the 30" on wheels and $49.99 for 10" without wheels.
*Or you can find a local speaker shop, and get an old punctured or blown woofer from them for free. Just tear a hole in the speaker fabric, tie a small rope through it, and drag it on the ground.
*I'd swear someone right here in River City (Portland, OR) makes a tool like that- I think I've seen their ads in the back pages. If I come across one again, I'll let you know. I found one other alleged source, Magnet Clean, Lake Oswega, CA, 800/ 547-7033
*If you just absolutely gotta spend money on this sort of gadget, get yerself 6 of those woofer magnets, and a red ryder wagon. Bolt the magnets to the bottom of the wagon. Bonus : You get to use the wagon as a wagon as well.
*every roofing supply house has them.. our's is about 24 inches wide.....they also have 36 & 48
*Luka,How do you keep the subs from riding around in the wagon during work hours? Do they make a 'club' for them?
*LOLI was thinking more along the lines of having each of the subs bring their own, and having wagon races down the nearest hill during lunch.b : )You can make your own club from any nearby 2x4...
*Luka, Again the hours you spend contemplating the world and it,s myriad problems has allowed an innovative solution to a complex challenge. Saluute!
*Thank you. Thank you. Just happy to do my small part for humanity. *Luka takes a bow, and explains that the world was always a poorer place without lunchtime wagon races.*
*Wagon + Magnets + Hill + Manhole Cover = 20 mph to 0 in 3 inches.
*I believe I saw something like that at HD.
*Harbor Freight or Northern Hyd....Way cheaper to make your own, though
*years ago I read a tip in a news paper column(Al Carrel?) from a guy that attached magnetsto the cutter on his lawn mower, lowered the wheelsand pushed it around to clean up after a roofingjob. He didn't mention if the mower was on of off.Steve
