I’m looking for suggestions for the finish for some DH windows in Hond. Mahogany. Southern exposure on San Francisco Bay. I don’t want to stain the wood, only a good oil or ? to protect from the weather.
I don’t mind reapplying every year or two, but not something that has to be sanded off.
thanks for the input

Minwax Clear Shield - lots more UV protection than their spar varnish. I would not think you have to sand it off whenever it becomes time to recoat but surely roughen the surface for the bite.
