Have a job that went great. No snags, no complaints, paid on time every time. Ideal customers! Don’t get those much.
I am doing a power point with the pictures I have taken throughout the job and need a good song for the background.
Anybody got any ideas? If I had a hammer is all that came to mind but would like something better. Don’t want sappy friend songs.
Help me!
Pic is of the exterior. Interior should be trimmed tomorrow. We will be done Friday.
Thanks,
Jeremy

Cotton Eye Joe is a fun, peppy background tune for just about anything. Did you see the You Tube video of the flying lawnmower? Someone posted it here a few months ago, they used that song and it was really fun to watch.
Hey Bst
How about John Denvers "Take me home country road"

Start with the Mission-Impossible theme, then Working Nine to Five and end it fast with Frankie Lane singing Rawhide while showing the tail lights through the dust of a whole line of guys leaving the finished job. <Plug for your tail light warantee>
thats clever, got me thinking now

Why not a narrative in both your own/DW's/employees voice?
Is this for a selling tool to future customers or entertainement?
A customer may want the narrative which would help them build confidence that you know what you are the best carpenter vs. just being able to take pretty pictures?
Just as a thank you to the customer. A gift, if you will. The bad news is you've done exactly the right things to be exactly where you are today.

Not to say anything bad about your project, but why on the inside corner don't the siding match up?
Because I couldnt get the match on existing siding. Tried like hell, no luck. Bugs me too, nothing I could do. Customer happy thoughThe bad news is you've done exactly the right things to be exactly where you are today.

In the future, just drop the sheathing so you can nail the starter strip. Or as I used to tell my guys, let it run wild and cut it when you insall the siding!<G>
When the two sidings are not the same size dropping the starter doesn't help. I know how to make siding match when it's apples to apples. Look close, there are places that do match up. The bad news is you've done exactly the right things to be exactly where you are today.

Our House
by Crosby, Stills & Nash
I'll light the fire, while you place the flowers In the vase that you bought today. Staring at the fire for hours and hours, While I listen to you play your love songs All night long for me, only for me. Our house, is a very, very, very fine house. With two cats in the yard, Life used to be so hard, Now everything is easy 'cause of you. Come to me now, and rest your head for just five minutes, Everything is done. Such a cozy room, the windows are illuminated By the evening sunshine through them, Fiery gems for you, only for you. Our house, is a very, very, very fine house. With two cats in the yard, Life used to be so hard, Now everything is easy 'cause of you.

That's the first thing that came to my mind, as well.
I think anything by Cannibal Corpse would be good. Maybe this one, Hammer Smashed Face, would be appropriate. Here's a live video -
