Makita 10 1/4 beam saw vs Big Foot 10 1/4″

Hello all
Just wanted to get some opinions and experiences in regards to comparing these two beam saws, the old Makita 5201NA 10 1/4″ vs the Big foot 10 1/4″ .
Just found and purchased the Makita and a Big foot adapter kit which will be adapted to a Bosch 1677M.

I have the Makita (no blade guard as parts are not available) as well as a 16" Makita. I've been using worm drive saws for ever and would always choose that configuration all though I've never used the big foot or the new Skil Sasquach. I did a large job a couple of years back that used rough sawn full 4x material and the 10 inch Makita would not cut through it. I had to use the 16. Without having ever used it, I'd still choose the Big Foot.
Both are great! I think the old Makita is a fair bit more solid. But I love my 15 year old Bigfoot on the Bosch base. The new Skil 10" is also fantastic, perhaps the best for the money, new.
