Has anyone any experience with the Makita 9.6 amp recipracating saw (sawzall)??? Needed/wanted one in a dash, and ran out and bought the makita (was on sale at local homecenter for $90). Have not used as of yet, and would like any feed back. Im a tad leary of it becuase; 1) never used a the makita brand recip. before, and 2) I DONT KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS THE MAKITA STYLE.
For some reason I seem to remeber a post in the past that stated that the makita seemed to vibrate a lot!!??
If I dont hear anything too bad I guess Ill keep it and post my own ‘review’ of it if anyone wants (will compare it to the p.c. tiger and the newer high powered dewalts, quick change and keyed blade)
Thanx,
-matt

Greetings:
Well, I own one, and I don't use it. Wierd blades, crappy battery life, sigh. It think it was a great idea that doesn't work in the field very well, probably because the recipro saw uses up juice alot faster than the drill does/did. "It sounded like a good idea at the time..." Wanna buy a backup?
Brad
*Matt,It's actually 9.6 volts, not 9.6 amps. And that's the telling point. 9.6 volts is terribly anemic for any tool, particularly one that must cut, like a circular or reciprocating saw. Is it returnable?
