1.  Is it ok to use my standard Craftsman sockets when driving lag screws, or should I buy impact sockets?  My guess is that the little Makita doesn’t develop enough force to overload the standard sockets.

2.  I’ve had it about 2 weeks now, and yesterday it slid off a one-story roof onto a concrete patio.  Landed on the magnetic screwdriver bit (about 3″ long), bent the bit about 30 degrees, temporarily jammed the bit in the tool, but it sems to be working fine.  As it was sliding down the shingles, just out of my reach, my thoughts were “how do I tell the wife I need another new tool after only 2 weeks?”
