I have the 10″ MAKITA TABLE SAW (as well as an 8″). The dang track for the mitre is a really funky size, and the gauge itself is just junky. Do you know of any aftermarket one that fits (the Incra doesn’t – even the V27 which they tout as fitting ANY, and (as far as I can tell Woodhaven doesn’t either.
Thanks much.

I have the same problem -- I love the Makita saw (with the Rousseau table) but I hate the miter slot. But it doesn't make sense to use the tabel saw for crosscutting when you have a SCMS. It could be useful for other cuts though.

Got the same setup...love it, light & portable, but not really made for mitre guage work...though I did make up a crosscut sled....2 little runners almost as good as one real one....
an scms I have, but it is a pain to do wider stock
I too have the same setup, the Makita saw with the Russeau tables, a great combo. If you want a miter slide, (I lost mine years ago), I would just make one. Use steel stock or thicker aluminum stock and mill it down. You could make a pivot arm out of hardwood that would probably work great. I made a sled for mine that cross cuts up to 20", you could do the same and then also make a sled that cuts miters.
does anyone suppose there would be a reasonable market for such a gauge - using (for instance) a Woodhaven miter gauge ??
