Makita table saw:dust/feather board

I like my new Makita 10 in table saw, BUT it really throws dust, and I think the miter gauge slot is non-standard, making fitting feather board difficult.
Is there a dust bag for the dust port (like on a chop saw)?
How to fit a feather board?
(I’d search BT, but my connection here is really slow)

Bags on tablesaws don't work for squat-they'll catch dust, but the swirl generated under the machine throws the dust right back up the blade guard. A vac attached to the port and if you feel like it-a pc of cardboard under the base of the saw will keep the dust down to a real minimum. Get a vac that is power tool actuated or find that switch that Sears used to have.........
Featherboard.- I picked up one from BIGDOG (or something like that). It has a slotted screw handle thing that spreads the mount to pressure fit in the miterslot groove. Still, some slipping if you are really pushing it tight against the work. There, I tear off a small pc. of sand paper and stick it along side the mount in the groove. Grabs good.

I use an older makita to tote to jobs that has a really shallow miter gauge slot. It has it's deficiencies but a lot of pluses as well.
I have an assortment of homemade featherboards of various thickness and lengths. A nice piece of spruce is my first choice, flexible but stout enoughto be durable. I use a longer [maybe 20"] unit and clamp it to the table top with a c or f clamp or two. Works well enough.
Yes..Me too struggling with the same problem..And i could not fit feather board on the table saw..And the information given by calvin was useful in some way..And the feather board is still not properly fitted..
Find a replacement miter guage
Most of the miter guages are t-slots, just not a standard 3/4X3/8-inch profile.
So buy an extra miter guage, or sacrifice the one you have and make cross cut sled to replace it, which will be more accurate anyway.
Take the head of the bar.
Drill and tap 4 holes in the bar.
Use 2 to holes install set screws you can lock the bar into place with.
Use the 2 other drilled and tapped holes to install threaded studs into which you can use to hold the feather board.
