Has anyone used the new Makita track saw SPK6000K? If so how did you find it to use, would you recommend it? Is it fairly readily available for purchase and if so where? Thanks for your replies and help.

It looks OK, I haven't used it. BUT, I do own Festool's track saw and vac. It makes worlds of difference for me. I believe it has better splinter free cutting than Dewalt or Makitas. For the price, buy festool for sure. Get the HEPA vac from festool and cut right in customers living rooms w/ no fear. Incredible tools/system they have w/ the vac. set up.
I couldn't agree with you more. I use my Festool TS 55 all the time. Once you get into the Festool system each additional piece adds to your productivity more than you would ever guess. They are expensive but what other used tool Ebay's for 85-90% of new.
Thanks Craig
