Hi everybody, I used to be a regular on this forum. Folks knew me by the name of maddogmaglin. I am posting some pictures of a job we are about to finish using Makore paneling. Makore is an exotic wood that originates from Central Africa. It is also often referred to as African Cherry. Enjoy!

Man, that is some beautiful wood - and workmanship!
Looks like 2 species. Guessing that the dark, highly figured one is the Makore; what's the other one?
The dark is figured Makore which looks like it is changing colors and direction when viewing it from opposite ends. The light colored wood is straight grained Makore.Frank
