I’m doing a bid right now and I do not know how to do the masonry? Could someone help me! This is a budgetary only and I chose to take it on. I work out of SouthWest Indiana. I need prices per square materials, misc. expenses per square & labor cost per square. Any help would be great.
Thanks

I think you need to partner up with someone.
If you are doing a competitive bid ... I'd take care. You bid low and you'll find yourself scrambling to cut corners and your work may suffer significantly ... leaving you w/ a black eye. Bad work can follow you around ... it isn't worth it IMO.
Call a mason and sub it out ... he'll give you a bid. Hope you don't think you can do it yourself and get away w/ it. You COULD, but you'll eat your bid in your labor and your efforts to come up to speed ... if that has a value in a learning experience, then by all means ... go for it. You sound a little out of your league, but, as I said ... if you are willing to buck up, it could be a good experience.
I'm not very experienced in the industry, but I've done some building ... my WAG on masonry would be in the $4-$8/sqft range, but that could be WAY off ... read on.
HOWEVER ... you didn't provide much for anyone to go on here ... What type of masonry work are you doing? CMU for walls in the yard? CMU for structural walls? Brick walls? Brick veneer? Decorative masonry? Foundations only? You need to paint a better picture if you expect good answers. Also Google your question with your specifics and you may begin to formulate an idea of what you are looking for. Also use a Means Cost Estimator or similar resource ... you'll probably get something in line of what you would get anywhere.
