Need to replace a 9×16 section of a large wrap-around deck. The existing boards are 5/4 x 6 and appear to be have been finished with something like Sikkens (e.g. stain + varnish like coating in one).
The boards are not cedar so I assume the boards were pressure treated. I think it is spruce or fir.
I found a sticker on the end of one board -> “StormWOOD Natural”
My goal is to make the new section match as closely to the old section as possible after I finish it. Assuming I can find a finish that matches, what should I use for the deck boards? A Copper Azole treated SPF? ACQ? Other? Does it make a difference? Does one pressure treatement impart a less noticable green colouring than the other? Is one pressure treatement more compatible with overcoating with finish that the other? How long should I let the boards weather before attempting to finish with Sikkens – one year?, two years?, never?
P.S. I’m in Canada. The deck is exposed. Southern exposure but partial shade.

What else on that sticker? If this is a label on the end of the board then it should have other information including the treament chemcial, retention, and treating company.
And what part of Canada are you in?
The reason that I ask is in the US most areas in the East (East of the Rocky's ???) the wood used is SYP for PT. Other woods are used on the west coast.
Apparently there is a hardwood decking in Austrial called StormWood.
But I did find this reference.
" Pressure-Treated Lumber
The old saying that "all things are not created equal" certainly applies to pressure-treated wood! At Havens Home Building Centre, we carefully select our suppliers to ensure that we only deal with those treaters who are known for their quality and adherence to strict environmental practices. Wolmanized lumber from Hickson Licensees and Stormwood from Timber Specialties Licensees are brands that guarantee that the wood you receive is pressure-treated to exacting standards. "
