I thought any nails with the correct degree of angle will work.
This brings me to a problem that is easily solved. Generic nails will work in any guns, the warentees are not invalid.
I wouldn't buy that gun because you have to buy a specific brand nail to fit in that magazine.
We have two HN90 coil framers and love them. They are small and light and powerful and with coils you pay a bit more, but you get a lot more production.
I have one and like it, but getting the nails has been a pain. Max is in the middle of changing the manufacturers. I think Falcon, out of Canada, will be making the nails. You have to buy a pallet at a time. That's what i've heard. Right now I'm getting the old stock of max nails from Western Tool. about $60 per box.
You can use a standard plastic collated nail, but you can't double stack it.
