   I like it, you have two different woods there, what are they and how are they finished?

   JMadson,

   The bar is all Maple, the base is stained and the top is clear.  It is finished in catalyzed lacquer, semi-gloss on the base and satin for the top.  I built up the finish on the top to give it more durability, we'll see how it holds up.  I especially like the kegerator!

   Looks great! The drunks in the Tavern wouldn't appreciate it 'cause they'd be laying under it.

   Did you do a glue-up on the top or is it ply?

   Tom,

   The top is Maple ply...it is three layers thick, but only solid on the outer edges, so that the bar edge molding could be supported sufficiently.  The cabs and panels were designed in eCabinet and cut on a Thermwood CNC.

   The customer said he was getting a keg of Blue Moon(I've never had it, anyone know if it's good?).  His daughter is getting married this weekend so I figure that the bar will be put to good use.

   Nope, not 'Mizered maple.  I do have a bunch in the barn from a tree I sawed a few years ago, but the color isn't good and it has a lot of knots(it was a free tree).  And my dad has a bunch of spalted maple he cut last summer, it's all 1" thick and really wide.  He cuts on the shares for a friend he works with and has a lot of variety that he brings home.
