I use my DeWalt 12v cordless saw with a carbide blade to cut that stuff (slow feed rate and wear the goggles – I also shut my eyes). The DW cordless also cuts my conduit, power strut, rigid and triplex cable. Works quite well.
If you are really into it, Panasonic makes a cordless saw set up for this kind of thing.

Bear, Greenlee tool co. makes a roto cutter that fits in your palm. You just apply a little pressure and crank the handle a couple of times. It cuts clean and fast. I prefer to just bend the M/C back onto itself untill the armor opens, counter torque with my hands the spiral of the armor and use a pair of Klein M/C cutters to snip the armor. It sounds like a lot but it only takes about 5 secs. a cut. I just turn the m/c a full half-turn and bite it in two. If you have dentures, you might want to get yourself one of those roto-tools from the supply house. They're only about 30.00.

Does anyone know any tricks for cutting mc cable or flexible
metallic conduit w/12-2 w/ground? I have a bit of this to run
and it's slow slow slow.
Thanks in advance
