I thought you two ight like to see my new screensaver.
Made using a picture taken by MrsMcDesign, and a quote I stole from one of IntrepidCat’s posts…
=0)
The green band at the bottom is for the taskbar, and for a row or two of desktop icons.
Oh, and the outline for the black letters is white.
Except for the last sentence.
The outline for that last sentence is the ambient, or background light/color of the universe.

and your post does what exactly.....?
Luka,
I think it is beautiful. The photo and the quote mesh very nicely together. May I borrow it?
Bill
Absolutely !Especially since I borrowed both the pic and the quote, myself.=0)

Very nice Luka. It fits you well.
I may have to borrow it myself.
J.
That's part of why I posted it.Anyone that wants to use it, can do so. Unless MrsMcDesign, or IntrepidCat have any objections...=0)

Thanks! - DW is honored. I found this one downloading the camera just now -

ROFLOLThat is cool ! To see the pumpkin after it matured and was harvested.Lends another dimension to the entire endeavor.BTW: When you post an attachment, then put the pic in the post, then delete the attachment... You may end up losing your attachment, and therefore the pic in the post.I think sometimes they do some housecleaning at prospero. And all the attachments that were "deleted" become actually deleted off the server. So, while the post may look a bit cleaner without that attachment icon... eventually the post will be more 'clean' than you intended.;o)

Hmmm! Have to remember not to delete stuff.

Since we're showing off our pumpkins... Granddaughter Chloe wanted to grow jack o'lanterns and also make pies, so we grew this one. Got 4 qts of really tasty meat; gonna be a tasty Thanksgiving!

From last years garden...
Holy Cow! DW said that's downright lurid! What variety is that?
Forrest - puttin' on sunglasses
Have to get back to you on that. Has really big fleshy leaves and petals. It's one of 8 varieties DW has picked up over the years.
I use that one for wallpaper on my 'puter among others.
It's either "Kiss and Tell," or "Exotic."
Cool!
I like this quote about the Saguaro cactus here...
The Code of the Saguaro:
Tough outside, soft inside.
Arms always open.
Never take more from the earth than you can use.
Always offer shelter to those in need.
And always stand tall.
On our first visit here we went to the Sonoran Desert Museum and drove up through the mountains. The saguaro were beautiful. The Indians think of them as ancestors. When you see the saguaro in the sunlight or sunset, they do look like humans. I know, I know, I haven't been smoking anything!
I like that !I may steal it.;o)

Go right ahead!
I love it!
Throw me in there with the list of thieves!
Awesome idea in my opinion.

Yes, but what is this "row or two of icons" of which you speak?
View Image
If you use my wallpaper, you'll have plenty of that green band left over, at the bottom. Especially since you have only one row, on your taskbar. Then, if you go with the small icons on the desktop, instead of the jumbo size you have there, you can put all those desktop icons in the green bar at the bottom, and leave the rest of the screen/wallpaper clear.=0)I make my taskbar two rows. Then, I move all of those desktop icons that point to programs, to the "quick launch" section to the right.
Edit: Errr, the OTHER right. (The quicklaunch section is to the left, on the taskbar. LOL)

Checked settings, that's "small icons." That's on a 20" monitor, though.Occupational hazard of my occupation not being around (sorry Bubba)
Maybe they just look bigger than mine.My screen resolution is 1024 by 768.Here's a screen shot.

Does look that way.Occupational hazard of my occupation not being around (sorry Bubba)
What is your screen resolution ?My screen size is only 16" measured diagonally. And resolution is 1024 x 768Small icons, large font.

What is your screen resolution ?
1024x768 @ 32bit, scrunched down to 640x480 in irfanview to make a polite file size.Occupational hazard of my occupation not being around (sorry Bubba)
HmmmExactly the same as mine.Maybe it's because your screen is 3" larger ?Is that a true 20" diagonal measurement ?

Is that a true 20" diagonal measurement ?
Nope, just put a tape measure to it--it's 19" exposed, corner to corner.
For comparison, here's the home desktop, from lunch today (on a 17" Samtron LCD)

Oh, and I walked Lyna through using PrintScreen & Irfanview just before lunch, success was reported.

Like someone told me once, you can't steal what is given to you.
I like your design............great job.
Hope you are doing well up there in the great state of Washington.
"What's an Arkansas flush?......It's a small revolver and any five cards."
My leg is great !!A little tender sometimes, but it's almost impossible to see where it was injured. Can't steal what was given you. Reminds me of the priest who ran after the thief who stole the silverware... To give him the candlesticks too.
Everybody is born a hero.
Yes, Sir..... just watched Les Miserables again last night.
Helps me keep things in perspective sometimes.
Glad to hear you are on the mend. "What's an Arkansas flush?......It's a small revolver and any five cards."
I've never seen the movie.Just read the book once, a long time ago.I should probably look for that movie at the library...
I think I used to have a good memory
It's worth it. You should really watch it. There are several versions."What's an Arkansas flush?......It's a small revolver and any five cards."
I found the version with Uma Thurman in it, at the library.Apparently I am now number two on the holds list.;o)

I hope you aren't going to post pictures of the 'final' condition of that pumpkin.(You did say you were going to eat it, right ?);o)
Everybody is born a hero.
Thanks Luka. I already put it on my desk top.
You are more than welcome.=0)I fail miserably at following those instructions. But I do at least keep on trying.=0)
