Holy sheet. I thought John D. Rockefeller was just some rich guy. Now I know what a fine stonemason he was ; ). Nice photos there. I'm jealous of you guys in the northeast for the nice old buildings over there- that stuff is few and far between out here in the west.

Pretty impressive for just the point of departure for his miles of carraige trails-now part of Acadia Nat. Park.
I thought you and others might like to see that stone and brickwork.
Acadia park and Cadilac Mtn....some fantastic hiking and views....hope I get there again.What does this situation in my life ask of me?
Man your making me home sick! Left Southwest Harbor a few years ago. I love the many stone bridges along the trails also.
