In recent strong winds, a small branch fell on and dented the metal roof of my parents’ pole-barn garage. It should still shed water, but one nail in a rib was torn out and there’s a ~3/4″ jagged hole left in the top of the rib. With winter coming, I need to get something up there to protect from the assorted glop we’ll soon be getting, and then in spring put on a more permanent fix. Can someone provide ideas/guidance for both? Thanks –
