toggle on a ledger strip.. set the cabs on that..
use a french cleat...
and still toggle the cabs to the walls....

I would remove sheetrock, install blocking and resheet with plywood behind wall cabinet locations. For base cabinets, togglebolts would do, or same method as for uppers.
Do you know the gauge of the studs? If they are 20s / 18s, 16s then hanging with screws is not a problem. Self-tapping number 8s can be purchased readily. If the studs are 25s, then I would be somewhat more concerned. However, I have seen miles of cabinets screwed into 25s without a problem. Do not use DW scews!
