I just purchased a 12 inch Milwaukee dual bevel sliding compound miter saw, and I am having difficulty with the set up. The blade is twisted so that it is not in line with the sliding travel. I believe this is called the plow. It is off about a degree. I can adjust the miter and bevel, but not the plow. Has anyone else had this experience, and if so what was the resolution? Thanks.

I don't have that saw so this might not help except for the obvious-call Milwaukee and ask. Or, call the supplier if bought locally, maybe they'll just swap it out. I buy all my power tools from the same local shop-no problem with any problem in 38 yrs. I'm one lucky guy.
The blade is not bent? You've tried another blade I take it?
Is it direct drive?..........with the motor, shaft, and blade all in a line? Where this unit bolts to the carriage-is there any adjustment?
Could the adjustible stop (if the blade is tilted at 0 bevel) out of adjustment. On my Hitachi-there's an adjustment bolt that stops the bevel at 0 (90 degrees). If that's off a bit, then the 90 degrees isn't nor does the detent end up at 45 either.
I wish you luck
There's two posters here who might have the same saw.
