Is the quality the same as the new tools? They are substantially cheaper in price but I hope not quality? Any input please.

I guess it depends where you buy it...and who did the recond. Me...I always buy factory reconditioned....usually from the Tool Crib.....with the full factory warrenty. Have several DeWalt and some Milwaulkee......just got the big 11 amp SawZaw around X-Mas.....again...recond.....and this too....works good as new. Jeff
*Oh yea, I'll buy them. But the only consideration I have is what is the price difference between the recon and the new. if its only a couple of bucks I go for the new. More then the recon.
*They dont ever come with boxes, at least mine didnt. Just bought severaland Ive noticed the 11.8 sawsall looks like its been well used.Others have looked brand new; but you never know what they will look like. This matters to a lot of people.
*I have had good luck with them thus far, but I'm always hesitant to buy unless I get some kind of warranty. The best is when you get the regular one year warranty. If possible get the warranty, then you really have nothing to lose. After all, you're just throwing away that money if the tool gives up after a couple of jobs.
