Some people wanted to see pictures of my sliding compound miter saw stand. It has removable stock support arms. The arms are attached with piano hinges. It is pretty straight forward, you should be able to figure it out on your own; this 18 year old did. I used 1 sheet of 3/4 birch plywood and some hardwood for the fence. I didn’t dado the shelf into the case, but I would if I was building it again, just for the extra strength. I mounted it on 4 swivel casters with brakes. I don’t bolt the saw down, but you could if you want. The stand can be carried, say from your truck over bumpy ground, but of course you will have to remove the saw. It is extremely useful for doing finish carpentry; you don’t have to fool with sawhorses. You can also set up a stop block easily for repeat cuts.
I also included some pictures of my router table, because I was down at the shop anyway…
Sorry about the bad quality pics…

Please drop your picture size down to about 50k.

There is information about downsizing pictures to post here and a link to a program you can download free to do so in the Photo Gallery here.
Sorry I don't know how to put the link in this post, but, I did bump it up to the top for you.
The title of the thread is IrfanView.
Good luck,

In my browser, I can just include the URL in the message text and the Prospero software recognizes it as a URL and turns it into a link.
Thanks Dunc,
That's how mine works for web sites - if I put in a www. but not sure how to enter just a thread from this site. For instance, if I wanted to direct you to 46455.1 (the first post of this thread)
The way I do it is copy the URL from the Location: line and change the msg number, like this:
http://forums.taunton.com/tp-breaktime/messages/?msg=46455.5
There's a way to do it with just the number showing, but I've never bothered to figure out how to do it. Do a search for "include link" without the quotes and you can probably find a description.

46455.1
Just copy and paste the no.
Doesn't work for me. May depend on what browser and/or OS you've got.

I would become self-employed except I'm too cheap to pay myself anything.

Thanks, rez. Didn't get around to checking the messages for a while, and didn't realize the pics were so big
