Does anyone know which, if any miter saws will hold up to cutting PVC trim?
My almost new Makita 36 volt has cut a few hundred cuts and now is dragging
somewhere beneath table. We blow it off almost constantly while using and thoroughly at the end of day.
Took it apart to see and it appears clean.
I know the PVC dust and particles are terrible and stick to every thing.
Had to bring tool to Makita repair center today about 2hours each way. – What a bummer! Bought a cheap Rigid that cuts to 70 degrees today just to finish the job we’re on. Have a Kapex, but have never and will never cut plastic with it.
I would think that the manufacturers of the PVC material would have thought this through and worked it out.
