My DW 705 has developed a problem.
About a second after I start it, the blade takes a serious wiggle then goes back to running true. I have also noticed it not cutting square, it’s out by about a thirtysecond. I thought it was the blade because I have never changed the original. I bought new blades but that didn’t fix the problem.
I have checked the brushes they seem fine, however as I try to move the blade by hand to check for a wobble I don’t get much but their is a squeak like sound from the end of the motor housing where the brushes are.
I don’t use the saw everyday but I have hade it for about ten years or so. It was the top of the line when I bought it.
I have never had a bearing go out so I was hoping someone could tell me if they have had a similar problem.
Thanks for any info.

Brushes are not usually an issue with wobble, that is a bearing on the arbor. It is natural to have some "drag" or slight squeak from the brushes, they are spring loaded to stay in contact with teh commutater.
I'd bet the bearing at the arbor nut end, but change them both while ya have it apart. Get the old bearings out and measure them, I get new ones from McMaster-Carr, watch the RPM ratings and get SEALED bearings..they be about a few bucks each.
I got some in my planer that are rated for 20K rpm, even tho' it spins at 22K, I should be OK.
