Lowes discount bin has a new MK Handheld masonry, tile itc. cutter with a 4 3/8 inch blade. Looks like a little skilsaw.
$149 maked down to $75 and I offer $50 and they said not yet.
Tempted to get it for future brick work or would the money be better spent on a new designated for brick blade for my MK-100.

i've had the little MK for a few years now...great little saw, esp for cutting cement board, etc. just be careful, dont know if they have changed the design but mine has no blade guard. put that sucker down too soon and watch it fly! Get your best price, buy it and enjoy it.
We use one for cutting openings in plaster walls. It's a two man operation- one cuts, one holds the vac close.
