A while back, there was a thread about mobile tool boxes, on wagons and what not. I’m too lazy to search for it.
I found the perfect base for the next project — how about a stair-climbing, self powered toolbox that you can just “drive” into a job?
Start with one of these:

Wonder how much $$$?
BTW, if you watch the video….you’ll realize you’d reach retirement before the top of the stairs. Pretty darn slow crawling.

one of the best mobile toolboxes I have ever seen was constructed using a wheelchair frame. The tool boxes were constructed to hook on the arm rests and fold open when in use. This thing climbed stairs with little effort, (but not as easy as driving it). When the day was done the toolboxes lifted off and the frame folded up and into the truck it went. I will build myself one some day when I have more time.

There's a similar thing made by the guys that did the Segway. Basically a WC built on a Segway.
