Moisture from dishwasher under counter
Hello
I have just purchase a new dishwasher. The old dishwasher release it’s steam in the front. This model dishwasher releases hot moist air under my counter top. The counter top is laminate and of course the substrate for the laminate is a particle board. We all know that moisture and particle board don’t mix.
Which brings me to the question for all of the all the great minds out here. What would you place under the counter top on the exposed portions of particle board to prevent the moist air (steam) from gathering on the exposed portion of the particle board where the dishwasher vents? Any suggestions or recommendations would greatly be appreciated!!
Thanks
Fredd

last one I installed came with foil tape to put under the countertop.
I didn't realize it until after the dishwasher was installed.
Who reads instructions?
Was the tape like the foil tape you can use on ducts? Who was the machine made by? I just got a GE profile and made some rice in a dish and the thing couldn't even clean it. It's going back.
forget the make, it was for a customer. Comes with a dvd for the owner.
Same as the foil duct tape.
