One of the picture that they show is a Mooney wall, but using steel hat channel instead of wood.
Then foaming the wall.
To me that seems like a strange hybrid.
Either do a SIP or a wood mooney wall.

Are there only two ways to accomplish a cross-hatched thermal break wall?
The so-called "Mooney Wall" is an old technique for thickening a wall and reducing thermal bypasses. I used it in another configuration 25 years ago in Boston.

<<There is more than one way to pet a cat. (edited by PETA for species correctness)>>Oh, no, have those a###oles showed up HERE now, too? <G> This does not bode well.
Do you have any idea of the R value of cat fur?Nevermind, I have rethought the idea of blown in cat fur insulation.
<<Do you have any idea of the R value of cat fur?>>I don't suppose it would be that bad, probably right up there with straw bale until it got wet, but then there would be those folks from PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) to deal with. Some years ago I was trying to explain to a sweet young lady that there were many ways to tackle a problem. I used the phrase, "more than one way to skin a cat."With a perfectly straight face, she replied, "I've always thought that bottle caps and an orbital sander would work well."
What are the bottle caps for?"Put your creed in your deed." Emerson
"When asked if you can do something, tell'em "Why certainly I can", then get busy and find a way to do it." T. Roosevelt
I don't know, I didn't ask. <G>I'm assuming they are for removing the big stuff and the orbital sander is for cleanup.
not really.... you hot glue the bottle caps onto the sanding pad.....

That rocks.I think I need to build this tool that just for the photo.
Ah ha! Get a worn out velcro sanding pad, run screews through from the back side into the bottle caps. Even more effective if the screws are long enough to stick out past the edge of the caps."Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

You realize that this has to be done, right? <G>

And even better.
Beautiful.
Cat fur doesn't like getting wet.
I here this "story" at one time.Claimed that furring comes from the use of strapping cabin joist (without any finished ceiling) and using them to hanging fur pelts for insulation.I am not sure that I buy htat, but it sounds good..

What do cats have to do with middle eastern unleavened bread?
If you mean matzoh, cool cats dig it. (Pita is made with yeast, so it's leavened).
