*b Another homeowner. One day we will rule the world.Samcoinc- I really like your work. But I was wondering why you don't lay cardboard on the countertop under the tools?
*good question. Its one of those "It wont scratch because I am the one that is being careful" famous last words. got 2/3rds of the handrail spindles in tonight> have to get the camera out again and take some more pictures. I like how it is looking so far.sam
*Lookin Good Sam-That Makita must mix up a mean oatmeal in the morning. :-)
*actually the 18 volt craftman mixes the oatmeal, the makita does the real work.samps thanks Rez and Bobpps - bob- I need a deck how close are you to WI?it would be 10' by 40'. roadtrip
*That'll be $7440 Sam -plus airfair- and a round of golf at Blackwolf Run at Kohler, WI.I live near Seattle.Bob :-)
*your biggest mess is the way you keep your workliving spaceorganized. if your counter was protected and tools organize etc. it would all seem to be more completed nice experience
*Yer a woman, aren't you ?Been married to a crapenter for many years, haven't you ?He works really long hours doesn't he ?
*Thanks luka. nobody seems to understand me. sniff sniff. Its hard to keep things clean when your the electrician, plumber, hvac-installer, sheetrocker, plaster, framer and so on. And doing it all at once. But then again I am the one that decided to do it this way. If it is any consolation we spent sunday filling up a dumster with junk. how the hell did I Accumulate a dumster worth of junk?sambob- that is tempting but I dont think the golf course is open right now.
*LOL-Sam-I couldn't get to it till May anyway, and by that time you'll have it all done.Is that course near you? I played it last year. Beautiful spot!Bob
*sorry bob - looks like it is over 200 miles from where I live - near lacrosse on the west side of wisam
*LOLROTF, Luka!
*Sam - My first run through your pictures and I am dizzy. Are you living there while working on it? How do you keep on track doing the whole project at once? Keep after it, it's going to be beautiful. I'll have to come back and look through again!
*thanks lisa. yes I am living and working there. It is hard to keep things strait as you might know. So far I haven't done a "oop forgot to ___________ before I _________" (fill in the blank) yet. Like run some septic lines before pouring the basment floor. over all I have been having pretty good luck. (other than weather)sam
*At least you don't waste time in comuting to the worksite. Awaiting more pictures.Mary
*I finally got all of the spindle in for the loft railing. I like how it turned out. just so you know I took the picture so it sucks. the loft overlooks into the "sitting room" as my fiance calls it. the stuff you see past the railing is temporary scaffold to work on the wall.sam
