I love mud running in a gyro. It is euphoric to fly for miles escaping the clutches of the imaginary mud hands trying to suck me in.
Some crankin & bankin tail shots. A gyrocopter can loop and roll… but I only go to 90 degrees.

Ummm.
Don't know if I can make a good enough sarcastic comment to do that straight line justice!

Sorry, I've just gotta' revisit that. I mean, isn't that just perfect a metaphor (simile?)for the creative life?
Whether the grasping hands are dull clients, accountants, insurance agents, etc., they're always there.
Trick is to soar above them - you've got that right.

Gonna trade that white car in for a gyro?

Sure is a muddy mess down here. I'd love to be doing some field work. But it's rained about every day for the past week.

That's the first thing they teach you in farmer school.

But seriously - It's wet enough that it's already certain to delay spring planting. It genuinely is a serious problem.
OK, so what's the speed of dark?
Boss: I am enjoying your farming thread. That brings back memories of when I used to farm. I was surprised at how much I have forgotten. We were and still are corn/soybeans up here...with a 40 acre patch of wheat everyother year.
Dad had a local pig factory pump their by-product over a mile through a huge hose. They pumped it right to the field along State Rt. 9...then a quarter mile north to the wheat field where a tractor with an applicator injected that stuff.
It didnt cost my dad a cent and it is really supposed to be good stuff.
I can just see the pork chops and bacon growing this spring.

They should turn that pig mash into methane before using it to fortify the fields. Run a couple generators. Give Ameren a break.

That landscape looks like the neighborhood around here... a lot of standing water. Love the banking pics.
I take it you have a five-point harness in your gyro?
I've been waiting for some non-rainy days to get up and see what it looks like from up high. Only thing I don't look forward to in summer is density altitude...does it affect a gyro like it does a fixed wing?
MRockwell: I am afraid our friend density altitude has its hand on even gyrocopters. I mainly notice the rate of climb goes down.
Of course temperature and altitude both contribute to density altitude.

That's about 80 degrees more than my stomach would tolerate.

I have not missed one of your pics... keep em coming , stinky
the one pic that shows your shirt looks like your flying a Hornet in a tight formation getting ready to do some serious acrobatics...man that looks like some serious adrenalin rushes. stinky
