Must eave overhangs match gable/rake overhang for aesthetics?

Currently building a detached garden suite on our city lot. Because of our setbacks I’m limited to a 12” overhang on the eave. I had planned to do 16” on the gable and run my fascia board wild to cover the gutter, making it appear to be 16”.
my question is, if I wanted to extend the gable overhangs to 24” and add corbels, for aesthetics, would it look off without having equal eave overhangs. I’ve tried drawing this but can’t really get a good idea.
looking for some opinions examples, tks

You can absolutely have longer gable overhangs. Adding some corbels would be a great idea. No one is going to go up there with a ruler except you.
