Will, don't try that with epoxy on the poochies!

I had to post here in memory of my Golden Retreiver Bud who I had to put down last November. He went to work with me from the time he was 3 months old and continued to for the next ten years. He would lay in my van all day long occassionally coming outside to see what was up. He never caused any problems to any of the guys on site and would add a nice diversion from time to time when someone wanted to throw the old stick. I also never had a problem with any tools missing from my rig. I miss you Bud.

There always seems to be at least one pooch on the job site. Yesterday the roofer had a staffy terrier. It was your best mate at smoko time ( as long as you had food that is ) but go near the roofers truck after and it's entirely your risk.
Then there was the plumbers canine. A weedy half breed cross between a dingo and a blue cattle dog.His mission in life was to try and trip you up with his chain.
Or what about the chippys labrador,he has to lay down right in the high traffic area and you're stepping over him all day.
I must say though they do come in handy when you get epoxy all over your hands and there's no rag convienient.
*There are a few good ones on the job site, but generallly speaking, they are a pain in the ass (not to mention whatever other part of the anatomy you hurt when you trip over them) and they are better off left at home. If the truth is known, they are probably too much trouble if they are left home alone, so they go to work with the owner - try to figure that one out!Having said that, I did have one old friend that used to travel with me in my truck daily, and never caused a bit of trouble in the 3 years he travelled with me.
