I have a Coleman 4h.p. compressor that’s blowing fuses (30 amp) when it kicks in. It’s rated 15 amps on the casing. I turned the cut in as low as it would go (80 psi) and its a bit better but not much, as soon as it’s hot it starts acting up. I got a post saying maybe the centrifugal weights need some work, i’m kind of partial to the thought of failed capacitors. Does anyone have any diagnosis tips?
P>S> Should I even bother? I bought it new/used and I have no idea if this thing has any legs for the long haul.
