Was looking at craigslist for my local area. Had a number for getting connected with banks to do fixes on their repos. It was for mycontractorsource.com . Is anyone familure with this company. I checked their website. They want $99.00 for background check and start mailing me work. Sounds to good to be true. Any thoughts?

I'll do it for $98
you say they are going to get you work? and you pay them?
just mail the check to me. save a buck!
and no background check!
No thoughts on getting work from them, but their website is for crapola. They want people seeking contractors to fill out a lot of personal information and describe their need, but they never provide information on how this resource works.
Do they email a list of contractors in your area? Does someone get back to you? How long does it take for a response?... etc. I just can't imagine anyone actually using this site to find a contractor. I wouldn't.
They are advertising for contractors to work for banks in my area. Had a quick speal that was to good to be true. 99bucks today, paperwork tomorrow, email me work on wednesday, pay every two weeks. I passed for now, but still looking at it.
Wondering if anyone has edxperience working with them. I am not planning on using them to find homeowners that want me. I was interested in the bank repo side that they advertised.October 17th, 2009

I'll do it for $97.50.
I tried one of those services some years ago... it was a complete waste of my time. The problem was that the "customers" use the service for free and are too often just tire kicking. they want you to come out and give them a free quote... nothing lost on their end.
I never got one single job from that service.
