Had to follow up my post- thanks for the advice to all. The wood platform did the trick, easy as pie.
No the only thing I ever have to lift is my lazy butt off the computer

well, although i did like the suggestion of bagged ice stacked like blocks with a piece of ply on top, drive on then let the ice melt, i just built a ramp out of some 1920 large timbers from a demo dumpster.
Just burn the wood out from under it, of course.zak
