Mom’s future bedroom is nearing completion. Finished the bedroom door jam extension, extended the door hinge and striker plate mortises. and primed the door jam today. Taking tomorrow off from work so I can stay home to cut and install the door casing, paint it, install the baseboard, and fit a final trim piece for the closet door. I think I missed my calling as a finish carpenter. Am really enjoying the challenges that it brings.
