   Just showed my 9-yr-old girl your room - she loves it!  We tried to decide if the cased opening in the first pic was a mirror or a doorway.  I figured that since I see a gray floor through it, and a wood floor in the room, it must be the hall through there.

   If it is indeed a doorway, could you post a pic of the door, showing how you did the curves?

   I cut a door blank from a sheet of mdf.  I screwed blocks to the perimeter.  I then wrapped 1/4 inch luan and screwed but not glued first layer to the blocks.  This layer was my reveal.  Everyday after school me and my son would wrap one or two strips around this.  Lots of glue and clamps.  Four layers later and I had my jamb.

   I ran into a mural painter through my wife's business.  We swapped services.  I gave him some ideas and thought he was gonna do a wall.  He ran with it.
