I have been remodeling for 9 years and in the past year have started my own business. I have spent most of the past 8 months sub-contracting to other contractors and builders. Because of the situation I have not developed a good contract for myself. I currently have a good friend going to court about a job gone bad. I am confident that it is not his fault, but he is encouraging me to develop a good contract that protects me, and the homeowner. I have gotten stiffed before, and want to prevent that as much as possible, so here I am. I’ve read a few threads on this topic, but have not seen any examples. If any of you are willing, e mail me at [email protected]
Thanks again,
Mike
