need a good software to submit building plans to city(mostly decks)

Thinking of buying Chief Architect Architectural version 2016. Has anyone had experience with this? What is the best software out there so that I can submit mostly deck plans to the city for permits but want the flecxibility to do kitchen,bath, and home plans in the future. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Norwood16

    I use chief architect and love it. Great versatility, good support, and a lot of online guidance.
