Need advice on stand for miter saw
So, I have a small garage, which is also a workplace for me, huh
I’m looking for a portable and affordable stand, so I can put it away and clear the space. The budget is ~200$ (less is better).
The miter saw is DWS779 (if this helps)
UPD.
I’m currently choosing between DeWalt stand (https://wisepick.org/best-miter-saw-stand/#product2) and Ridgid stand (https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-Universal-Mobile-Miter-Saw-Stand-with-Mounting-Braces-AC9946/206992161)
I found some coupons, so it’s gonna be right about 200
Have anyone experienced them? Any real reviews?

I like my black and decker workmate.
Miter saw secures to the top with a C clamp.
not the lightest thing, but to use, than put away in the same place, it works for me.
Look for a used Ridgid stand that has a leg for each extension arm. There will be less tendency for the extension arms to sag.

Before I built my shop I had to use my garage. It was a constant struggle to find space. At the time I was using a large 12” sliding miter saw. The saw takes up a lot of room itself and has to sit on top of counter or on a large shelf for storage. Keeping that in mind I decided to build a cabinet on casters for the saw to sit. It worked out great and I would do it again if I ever need to go back to a small workspace. In the cabinet I built open shelves below with storage for miter saw stuff and measuring/marking tools. The top was constructed in a way that the sides hinged up to create a solid platform for a fairly large continuous fence (about 6’ in total). I would hinge the sides down when not in use and roll the cabinet on casters to its resting place when done. It takes less time to do this compared to clicking a saw stand together and lifting a heavy saw into place. Also, a lot less strenuous. When cutting long stock I pulled out my roller stands to assist. There are a lot of examples online. I made a hybrid of a few examples that looked good for me.
In my shop now I have a long work bench (about 12’). In the middle I lowered a portion of the worktop to house the miter saw. The worktop serves as support/fence. If you are planning a work bench in your garage you may be able to do this as well. It works even better, but requires the room for a long work bench.
Thanks a lot guys! I appreciate your help.
I'll look for Ridgid
I have the same saw and use the collapsible dewalt stand. It is a great stand with limitations. The extension arms are pretty good but they do flex a little bit with large PT wood. I’ve over come this by simply purchasing two additional roller supports that was I can safely and comfortably cut long stock. The stand is great from a function stand point of collapsing and storing upright.
I own a Dewalt heavy-duty miter saw stand. The extension lock levers are great that provides tight locking and is compatible with almost all miter saw brands.
I purchased that from amazon on reading a few genuine reviews online.
Dewalt Heavy Duty Miter saw stand would be perfect for you. It is portable and compatible with all brands miter saw. The best part is the stability and the extension lock levers that provides tight locking
I bought this from Amazon a few months back on reading a few reviews and it is superb.
