Snapped an axle this afternoon. looks like it’s been cracked part way through for some time, the remaining portion quit too.
Old Case industrial tractor — looks to be the same as some 310s too. Vintage 1957, but looks like maybe 56 to 58 ?
Part number G10851 — haven’t googled up anything so far, anybody have a recommendation for where to look?

The first place I would try would be the local Case dealer. If that was a John Deere, you could still buy most parts for it. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a new one in stock somewhere in the country.
One thing about tractors, they usually park them out in the back lots and let the weeds grow over them because they are too hard to junk. I think some google time will turn one up if the Case dealer can't help.
How about these guys?

How about these guys?
They don't list it, but sent a request to them.
Found another guy looking for one in May on a couple of the old tractor forums, wrote to him to see if he had any luck.
There's probably a dead one somewhere here, but those old dead ones in the fields are being saved "I'm gonna do something with that some day" is the reply to any question about selling one.
Yup, day you die your kids are calling the junk man and the real estate agent.

I'd try duct tape 1st. It might save you a few bucks!
I'd try to call some farms or well established excavating companies, they might have one that they keep around for parts.
Posted this on Yesterday's Tractors and got an email from a guy in Minnesota.
Has one, $195 and phone number to call tomorrow.
Couple seals & brgs and I'll be smiling.
The world wide web thingee is amazing........

Good for you!!!! I love old tractors. We have a lot of new machinery that we use every day, but we still own a 1957 J.D. 420 crawler that I am restoring.
My brother and I bought it in 1960 for $1200, which was big money back then, and it has served us well ever since...as has the rest of the J.D. fleet!
