FIL needs to finish up a house project I left him with. He and my MIL have had some health issues, and progress has been slow. The house is 1890; unoccupied after a full gut renovation and large addition I did in 2005. 100% new CYP millwork and mechanicals and drywall. Wife’s great grandfather built the house (and the historic JC Lore Oyster house); it will be now be a rental in a what’s now a resorty area.
Work is to hang old doors in new installed casing, some trim, some crown, etc. Various last bits.
FIL is a good man, 70, burly retired colonel. Cut through his palm falling through a glass door recently while digging in the French drains; waiting for the nerves to grow back – he’s pissed he can’t hold a beer in his right hand! He has had zero success as a HO finding help, & I just can’t get back up from GA – no time.
Probably three days work; location is Solomon’s Island, Maryland.
Any interested?
Thanks to all
Forrest

For my FIL's sake!

Hey Forrest, I'm in Annapolis. I might be able to throw a few days at him, but probably not til next week. Send me an email and we'll try to get something going.

Kimball, I've read all your posts as part of due diligence :-). Looks credible. I'll send a PM.

Hello Forrest, I gave your FIL a day yesterday and think we got him out of the woods. Very nice project. You've done some beautiful work. You ought to post some pictures. I love all the CYP millwork.
It was fun doing a project with a breaktime connection also.
