Our house is under construction and the roof has been framed the problem is that one side of the hip roof is 12:12 and the other side of the hip is 10:12. My question is how to get the overhangs to match up where the two sides meet to make the point at the end of the hip rafter.

Considering the fact that the roof has already been framed, you`re a little late with your concerns.
The only advice at this point would be to build out the fascia on one side and build down the soffet on the other until the your level and plumb lines meet.
Good Luck!

Cut the overhangs back a bit on the 12/12 side until the fascia is at the same elevation.
