I’m a first time DIYer, need some help with this design. Here is the photo of the wall that I’m about to put some picture frame mouldings. As you can see this space is combined with living and dinning room. The wall is 21 feet. You can see additional photo, there is a support beam and half wall sort of splits the dinning and living room. I did a rough drawing shown as attachment. My question is, should I have the same width panels beside the window, or keep the right side panels the same width? hope I explained my question understandable. thank you.

A. Panels flanking window should be the same size.
B. Most far right panel should be the same size as A. panels.
C. The panels in between should be a single panel.
D. Width of panels below the chair rail should be same as above.
E. Get some blue tape and layout the panels. After you decide on proportions, remove blue tape and snap chalk lines.

Hi Frankie, thanks for the reply. "C. The panels in between should be a single panel" is the panel gonna be too big for the room? You see there is a support pole kinda split these two rooms. If the mid panel cross that reference pole, is it gonna be awkward? Please advise, I know nothing about interior design.
Lay it out and see. I think it will be fine, judging from the size of the panel to the left of them window.
You always want an odd number of panels before interruptions.
